Cast and Crew (Character Profile Building)

                                                    Role and Personnel Profiles

Developing detailed character profiles helped me understand the motivations, personalities, and psychological states of the characters in my film opening. Since psychological thrillers often rely on complex characters rather than action-driven narratives, creating well-developed character profiles was an important step in the planning process.

The protagonist of my film opening is portrayed as emotionally vulnerable and psychologically conflicted. Their behaviour reflects someone who feels restricted within their own home environment. Through subtle body language, hesitant speech, and uncomfortable silence, the character begins to reveal the emotional tension present in their relationship with their parent.

The parent character represents authority and control within the household. Rather than presenting this character as a stereotypical villain, I wanted the character to appear realistic and psychologically complex. This makes the situation feel more believable and unsettling for the audience.

By carefully defining the personalities, behaviour patterns, and emotional states of each character, the actors will have a clearer understanding of how to portray their roles during filming.
