Planning :Gear and Equipment

                                                            Machinery and Devices

The equipment I used during filming was really important for creating the kind of look you see in psychological thrillers, even though I didn’t have access to professional gear. For this project, I filmed with an iPhone 16 Pro Max and worked with a single cameraman, doing all the shots handheld. This made the camera work feel more flexible and intimate, which helped build tension and a sense of unease in the scenes.

Even though the equipment was simple, I still thought carefully about how to get the best results. The iPhone’s high-resolution camera allowed me to control focus and exposure, and filming handheld gave some shots a slightly unstable, realistic feel that fits with the thriller style.

I also used basic lighting techniques to create shadows and low-key lighting effects, which helped make the scenes feel mysterious and suspenseful.

Overall, planning the gear and how we used it made filming run more smoothly and helped keep the style consistent. It shows that you don’t need loads of fancy equipment to make something look professional if you think creatively about what you have.
